jewell came home from shopping to find two men ransacking her house. Before she could run off and call for help, they grabbed her and dragged her into her bathroom. They made her take off her dress and then they put her in her bathtub where they tied her up. If Jewell had any plans to scream for help, those plans were dashed when they stuffed a pair of her panties in her mouth and sealed her lips shut with duct tape. This seemed to keep her very quiet as all Jewell could utter were some muffled whimpers. The men left her struggling in the tub as they finished robbing the place.
