Kobe was hearing noises at night that kept her awake. The noises seemed to be coming from her neighbor's garage. Rather than telling someone, she decided to check it out herself. This turned out to be a very bad idea. because when she went into the garage, she saw things she shouldn't have and before she could get out to tell someone, she was grabbed by a man. He tied her up with rope and so she couldn't hollar for help, he stuffed and taped her mouth to gag her. Kobe struggled to get free. She tried to cry out for help. But even though she lived only next door, the gag kept her cries muffled. Later that night, when people would start looking for her, Kobe would be stashed in the trunk of a car and well on her way to be sold south of the border. Kobe is gagged on camera in this video
